The Centre Management has again reviewed the paddling provision over the past season 2007 and subject to a minimum level of participation that will allow the Centre to run the course viably during the season 2008 the Casual Paddling hours of opening will in principle remain the same or show an increase on hours allocated last year.

The Centre continues to subsidise canoeing by some 25% of the real cost over all age groups however it has decided to reward its regular paddlers with the option of purchasing books of tickets for a reduced fee and replace the existing Nene user card with a new 'Nene' card progressively during 2008. Details will be provided to you during your paddling early in 2008 in addition to new procedures for assessing first-time 'whitewater paddlers' to the Centre.
